My name is Efesa Origbo. I am a product manager at Microsoft currently working on analytics and big data platforms for Office, Skype and Bing. Opinions in this blog are entirely my own. Before Microsoft, I was an MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and before that I was an IT programmer/analyst at National Instruments, a leading technology company in Austin, Texas. I love swimming, and ping-pong. I’m also passionate about technology and business strategy, and I constantly strive to learn more about them, in addition to the economic, political and military history of nations.
I am a strong adherent to the concept of CANI (Constant And Never-ending Improvement), and constantly strive to become better at whatever I set my mind to.
I started this blog in 2011 hoping to share my thoughts on two major topics:
– Current trends in business and technology.
– Life as an international student in a top-ranked United States university.
When I got into Kellogg, I decided to focus more on the second topic and let people get a better sense of the enigma that business school can sometimes be. Now that I’m out of business school, I intend to continue writing about business, technology, and leadership topics.
