Work Doesn’t Happen at Work

We have so many tools available to today’s working professional; instant messaging, emails, cell phones and a host of others. These tools should make us more productive, and enable us to get more done in less time. Instead, what we observe is that people are working longer hours, and sometimes getting less done in the process.

Most individuals – including myself – need huge chunks of time to get any real work done. Unfortunately, getting these time chunks in a normal work day is mostly wishful thinking. The video touches on some reasons why this is so, and provides an interesting idea for moving forward.
